A service for Reverend Paul McEachern will be held at the Harvest Christian Center in El Paso, TX.  It will take place on Saturday, February 4th, at 11am.

There’s a saying, “God is good all the time” and how true that is. What joy and security to know that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8. With all the storms and assaults coming against the true disciples of Jesus, we have a Lord who constantly watches over us. While the enemy hates us, we are the apple of God’s eye. Hallelujah!!! Thank You, Lord.

We received a sad report Sunday night that our friend and long-time respected pastor here in El Paso, Reverend Paul McEachern, had been missing since Thursday from his home. His wallet and keys were still on the table and his car was in the garage. As soon as the news went out the body of Christ began praying. Monday morning we received the news that our  precious brother’s body had been found in the desert. We know he is having a wonderful homecoming in Heaven!!! Please pray for his family. We have had the privilege of ministering
with him on several occasions over the years, and this man of God will be missed.

Thanks to the Lord and the prayers of the saints, Pastor
George Belobaba continues to improve from the stroke he suffered last November. We will continue to pray for full restoration.

As Breakthrough4Life continues to grow, the need for a larger piece of property is becoming a necessity. The need of food, clothing and general necessities continues to grow as the economic worsens. We have long ago run out of storage space for distribution of clothes, food and miscellaneous items. The storage areas are too small for the needs. As we give out, the supplies come in, and we do not have sufficient room.

Please pray with us that the Lord will open a larger property that will be adequate for the needs. We need a piece of property where we can be “God-sufficient”. We are looking for a property which has a dependable water source, room enough for growing food for the ministry and those in need, raising livestock and chickens, space for a place of worship, and housing for staff and those in need of ministry. Our present ministry center just does not meet our present needs nor the needs of such an uncertain future.

We will have openings for more staff in the coming months to meet the increasing needs, and we know the Lord is stirring the hearts of those individuals who are called to these positions. If that is you, please contact us.

We are so very excited as we continue to receive applications for enrollment in the Institute 4 Biblical Studies. Students have signed up this month from across the US, India and Albania. It is thrilling to reach these areas with His message.

The Word of God goes out over our website and internet radio everyday touching lives with the Gospel, and we continue to improve the content. Lisa, our webmaster, is working on giving the site a new look and is making it more efficient.

This month, the Lord laid it on the hearts of two Christian plumbers to fix a water heater free of charge. We also had a new water heater installed by men from the Christian Home. Plus, another brother fixed a couple of electrical problems. Thank you Lord, and thanks to each one who made these repairs possible.

We constantly live in a state of miracles. The Lord is always working on our behalf. Regardless of the circumstances, WE CAN TRUST JESUS!!! The psalmist says, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread”. Psalm 37:25 , “God is certainly good all the time”.

Our services continue to be a blessing to us all. As we come together, the Lord ministers to each one as He has throughout history. He is faithful!!!

We pray blessings, joy and peace to you from our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful time of the year as we celebrate the Greatest Gift of all.

John 3:16 & 17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

It is always overwhelming to think of the inconceivable love of God in sending Jesus into the world to die in our place. Thank you, Lord, for Your Divine love!!!

Our website continues to receive hits from all over the world and we continually rejoice that the Gospel goes to so many areas where we physically could never go.

The internet radio outreach, BBN4Jesus Radio, has experienced a noticeable surge in listenership resulting in our reaching a wider audience with the Gospel.

The Institute 4 Biblical Studies continues to receive applications from across the nation and around the world. In speaking with a valued friend and brother in the Lord, Art Manke, regarding I4BS, he made some suggestions which the Lord had impressed upon Alana and I. As Art was speaking, it became clear that the Lord was speaking through him, and because of the decline in holy standards in many churches, Bible schools and seminaries we will be working toward issuing ministerial credentials. We have targeted the early part of 2012 to implement the ministerial program.

We have been called to raise up a holy standard and we will follow the Lamb!!! We will continue to teach and preach the cross, repentance, holiness through the inner man, Christ likeness, being Spirit-filled and Spirit-led and other foundational teachings which some have thrown aside. We will “cling to the Old Rugged Cross!!!”

We continue to add the excellent teachings of Pastor George Belobaba. If you haven’t perused his teachings you are missing out. His teachings will edify you and make you hungry for more of the Word. Pastor B sat under the teachings of some very capable teachers and he has taken those teachings and added to them through decades of prayerful study as the Holy Spirit enlightened the Word to him. Your life and relationship with Jesus will be enriched as you study his teachings!!!

The Christian Home has a tradition of serving Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and making these meals available to those in need. The response is always great as they serve hundreds of meals at each event. We have been honored to do the decorations for several years.

This past month we held yard sales to help raise needed cash, but it also turned out to be a time of ministering to individuals and helping some with food. While we have been giving food to those in need in Mexico, the needs right here continue to grow as the economy worsens.

We thank you for standing with us. Your support has been a blessing as you have joined with us in doing His ministry over the years. While we have been steadfast in the Lord’s work, we know there are great challenges ahead. Words cannot express our appreciation for your constant love, prayers, gifts, encouragement and hands on help over these many years. We love you!!!

Thank you, partners, for your help!!! We are very thankful for your faithfulness in helping us share the love of Jesus every month. As we grow we are able to touch more lives in the physical and the spiritual, and it is possible because of your obedience to His voice.

This past month has been a huge month for sorting and distributing donations. It is hard to put into words the overwhelming sensation of knowing that we all are His hands and feet as we reach out to people who are in extremely desperate situations.

It was a blessing to have Tom Goss, the Director of the Christian Home, come by and fix our oven in the main kitchen (which has needed repair for months) and work on our computer. Thank you, Brother Tom!!! We also purchased a new hot water heater for that kitchen.

As most of you know, we have regularly scheduled Spiritual Warfare/Prayer & Praise meetings every other Friday. October 28th we had our meeting combined with a special time of honoring a very special woman of God, Leonie Wilson. It was an exceptional Spirit-filled time with the Lord and ministry, followed by a wonderful time of fellowship with two other precious friends and faithful elders, Pastor Paul McEachern who has proclaimed the Gospel in El Paso for 45+ years, and a devoted follower of Jesus, Sister Nancy Lynch. The rest of us were blessed by the presence, Scriptural knowledge and fellowship of these three 80+ year olds. This past Friday had to be one of the most blessed days since we started holding our Spiritual Warfare /Prayer & Praise meetings. The presence of the Lord permeated the air and the fellowship of the saints was so rich. Thank you, Lord!!!

It is very exciting to have people registering for the Institute of Biblical Studies from different parts of the world. This is thrilling to have people who are hungry for the Word of God and to be able to share with them a way to grow in the Faith.

We are adding more teachings to our website. Pastor George Belobaba is, arguably, one of the top Bible teachers alive today. He has spent most of his 85+ years searching and teaching God’s Word. Thousands of Christians have benefited from this Spirit-led pastor/teacher who is beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the Lord’s best kept secrets. We have just begun to put Pastor George’s material on the website and will be adding much more.

BBN4JESUS Radio and the website continue to reach out to the world “Broadcasting the Good News to every land every day”. We never fail to be blessed as we sow the Gospel to the lost and lift up the saints in places of this world where we could never go. Thanks be to our Lord!!!

Not content with one set of free Bible courses, the Institute 4 Biblical Studies is now offering another free series of teachings.  Pastor George Belobaba has been a teacher of God’s Word for many years, and we are excited to be able to offer his “Preach the Word” series online.  Check out the list of topics that are available so far, and be sure to visit the institute’s homepage for updates as we continue to post new material.

In the Name of Jesus, greetings to our precious brothers and sisters!!! It is with great joy that we keep laboring in His vast harvest field, serving our gracious Master.

As we write this letter, the drug war goes on unabated across the border, and thousands of innocent victims are caught in the crossfire. In addition to the drug war, there is another ongoing battle being waged against the Evangelicals in various parts of Mexico by the Catholic Church. Christians, whose only crime is serving Jesus, are suffering violence, and in some instances, being driven from their homes. As this evil is being exercised against these saints of God, the law stands by and does nothing to protect them. We just received a message this week from some missionary friends verifying that this war against our brothers and sisters is not slowing down one iota.

“Worship, Word and work” is the way of life here. Whether we are working in the spiritual or physical realm, we are called to (Luke 19:13) “occupy till I come”. This word “occupy” means to carry on the business. We all are instructed to carry on our Father’s business. How can we do that? We have found success by rising very early and spending time with the Lord and then working. We, as disciples of the Lord, are called to follow the example of Jesus. He said in John 9:4

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”.

Methinks that far too many of His very own prefer to occupy the “easy chair” and press their “easy button”, which is usually a remote, and live their life of ease. But, we all have been called, by Him, to “rescue the perishing” by “occupying till I come”.

If you want a better relationship with Jesus, you are not going to find it in reading books about Him, listening to CDs about Him, or watching Christian DVDs or TV programs. You may glean a paltry sum of knowledge out of those resources, but you can come into relationship with Him by being in the WORD of God and spending time communicating with Him. You can enroll in our online school and learn about Him through His Word and develop a close relationship with the Lord. We can’t recommend these studies too highly. This is a two-year course, but you can work at your own pace. This will help prepare you for any level of ministry. To submit your application, click here

As you can surmise, we have been extremely busy, but we keep the spiritual side of the ministry foremost at all times. We can truly say that the Lord has been in our midst. He not only saves and heals, but he has a way of bringing the dross in our lives to the surface so it can be removed. As the dross is removed it leaves more room for Him, and we become more like Him. Oh, that all would cry out,

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me” Psa 51:10.

October 3rd is almost upon us, which means that the Institute 4 Biblical Studies will soon be available to take applicants.  The final testing for the site launch is wrapping up, and the last minute details are being worked out.  It is very exciting, and after a month of pouring over the pages, I’m looking forward to the launch of this piece of the Breakthrough 4 Life Ministries vision.

Pastor Don Randall was so excited about this opportunity when it first came up.  I remember him sharing the idea with some of the people with whom we regularly fellowship.  The reception was positive and encouraging.  Everyone thought that it was an excellent idea and that it was very necessary.  As I began working on the project, I became more excited myself as I looked at the material.  I was tempted several times to stop working on the web pages and just start studying.

So needless to say, I am thrilled for the students who will be signing up to take the courses.  I am confident that they will be blessed as they dig into the Word and learn the foundations of the faith.  They will receive some excellent training that will in turn benefit those to whom and under whom they minister.  I hope that you will join with Breakthrough 4 Life Ministries in support of this new endeavor–in prayer, in financial support, and perhaps in becoming a student of the Institute 4 Biblical Studies yourself.

It is with great joy that we announce the opening of Breakthroughs’ Institute 4 Biblical Studies on Monday, October 3rd. This is an intensive study of the Word of God, which encompasses learning the Word and applying it in your life. The courses can be taken at your own pace. I can’t express how thrilled we are to be able to offer this life-giving Word to every land, every day!!!

Needless to say, we have all been extremely busy getting this set up. In time we would like to add this on a local level, but with the potential of offering free Bible training to our worldwide audience, we just could not pass up such a tremendous opportunity.

Being able to offer affordable Bible training has been our goal for several decades, but free is much better. In fact, I remember talking with a friend of mine, Chuck Sheard, in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s about the need for making ministry training available to ALL, to “whosoever will!!!” Now we can!!! Yes, we can!!!

If there was ever a time in history when the Gospel of Jesus Christ must go forth it is NOW!!! Sin is becoming more rampant here and across the globe every day. The Gospel must be proclaimed not just in fancy words, but in Holy Ghost power!!! 1Cor. 2:4, 5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

We need to get back to the life-giving ways of God and forsake the death-giving ways of the world. Where are the John Lakes, the A. B. Simpsons, the Maria Woodworth-Etters or the Anna D. Brittons today? You may say, I’ve heard of Lake, Simpson and Woodworth-Etter, but who is Anna Britton? It was through her that my family came to Jesus. My mother, who was 15 years old at the time, was dying from rheumatic fever. My grandfather, who was far, far from the Lord, heard about this woman preacher who was laying hands on the sick, and they were being healed. He and my grandmother were desperate enough to try anything to save their daughter. They took my mom to be prayed for, she was healed and the whole family came into the Kingdom of God!!! That, my friends, is Normal Christianity. Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Our desire is to see men and women come through IBS (Institute 4 Biblical Studies) full of the presence of the Lord, which brings life and power. Please pray with us as we undertake this major expansion of the ministry.

It was a blessing to have Pat and Elaine Toner stop by with Nathan and Carrie and Carrie’s sons, Derek and Jared for too short a visit. Pat has been ministering with much success in Italy and on the African continent.

The work goes on. Sanding, painting, sawing, hammering, raking, shoveling, etc. Building, tearing down, remodeling – there always seems to be another project, but the joy is seeing the work done for Him!!!

All our outreaches are moving as He wills. The radio ministry continues to touch lives, and the website operates around the world and around the clock 24/7. What a blessing to know that even though our bodies need rest, that we keep spreading the Good News via the internet.

Our services continue to be filled with His presence. As the old song says “This is Like Heaven to Me.” Come and join us as we worship Him.
